Ambok is one of the most popular food of Cambodia. This stuff use for celebration in water festival also. Ambok is pounded rice (by the action of making it) or flatten rice (by the shape of it) that is a kind of Khmer snack made from paddy rice.
This is one of the khmer classic desserts well popular throughout the country. It take a long complicated process to turn rice into flour and leave it overnight with baking soda before it would be mixed with sugar and salt ready for steaming.
